X50 setup
Hello
I am installing my x50 x3 plus a Deco outdoor POE and a X50 indoor POE unit (total 5 units), ISP Mode/Router Fiber (500MBPS) and a POE Switch
I have to use my ISP Router/modem as its fiber. Do i connect my Main X50 to the ISP and then from that to the switch WAN port or ISP direct to switch WAN then to my POE Devices?
Do I daisy chain my X50s with ethernet or can I attain fast speeds with WiFi 6 connection? I was hoping to avoid lots of cables but my walls are over 3 ft thich made of stone and its a large house. The ceilings are concrete not wood.

Can I have the model number of the POE switch?
If you keep the ISP fiber modem router, it is suggested to set Deco into Access Point mode.

For more details about Ethernet Backhaul, please refer to General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco
If some satellite units can't be wired via Ethernet cables, the wireless connection also works.
(All Deco models here support Connection Preference. If one of them isn't connected to the nearest Deco, you can also customize the connection preference)
