G'day - I need help with setting up wifi coverage of a rural property.

Up until recently I have been using TP-Link AV600 Powerline units to run internet signal between two buildings and then a UniFi AP to beam WiFi within the building, unfortunately after installing solar there seems to be too much noise in my cables and the Powerline units don't carry the signal anymore.

I am thinking of purchasing a mesh system and looking into the Deco range of products, but man there is a few to choose from there!

My property layout is: 3 buildings that are about 20 meters (60 feet) apart with clear line of sight between them, ideally the signal would penetrate 2 external and 1 internal wall. Our goal is to have consistency and reliability of signal rather than the speed of the internet as we mainly need connection for work communication rather than gaming or HD streaming.

Any insights/recomendations will be appreciated.

Cheers

Roman

Hi, welcome to our community.

It is hard to tell which Deco models are the best for you. The performance varies from network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location. What's more, what you want is a mesh network among three buildings instead of one.

Here we lists some guides for your reference:

What is Deco?

All Deco models on the official website.  (you may choose using the filter tool)
How to choose the right Deco
General question about the Wi-Fi range of Deco

It is also suggested to ask for some suggestions from our business community.
