Thursday
Model: Archer BE550
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 build 20241230 Rel 20267

Installed this router on 15th Feb 2025.
Updated the firmware immediately.
Monitored the traffic usage uop and down.

Noticed a massive increase in the data use.

Checked with my ISP who provided their data usage figures for same period.

The figures reported o n the BE550 were over 90% higher.  Example:

Up 2144mb (ISP), Up 227300mb (BE550).  Down 7621 (ISP), 116400 (BE550)

Up 2372mb (ISP), Up 2273900 (BE550).  Down 12769 (ISP), 275000 (BE550) - yes over 2.2TB!!!

Clearly the TPLINK hardware/Firmware/Softawre is misreporting the traffic usage.

I have fully checked all wifi and Ethernet systems, fully scanned, no issues.

ISP State my usage has remained in a constant average for last year or so.
Can TPLINK check, explain, reassure?

Hi  @SPKS,

May I know who is your internet service provider? Please help us collect system log and send it to email support.forum@tp-link.com, attaching Forum ID 748436 and details, and we will have a dedicated person to assist in analysis and follow-up.

Hi - have sent relevant data via the email.

With the systems log being a TAR zip file most systems will block due to security or fail to allow opening.  Could there not be an option to Save as PDF or TAR?  So much simpler.

Look forward to your reply.

Andy
