Archer BE550 - Firmware Update not working
Hi
I just brought this router today.
When I download the firmware from the tp-link.com support, the update also never work.
When I unzip the zip file it is showing V1.0.7 firmware but the online update showing V1.0.8.

In this case there are several thing that you can try for manual FW update (v1.0.9):
1. Use a different browser/computer for the upgrade procedure.
2. If you use a cable connection to the router, connect to the router wirelessly and try again.
3. If that still doesn't work for you, I would suggest to factory reset the router and try again.
Note: To reset the router press the reset button for about 10 seconds - you have to re-configure the router from scratch after that.
4. If the issue persists contact your local support for further assistance.

This error message means that you don't have connection to the TP-Link cloud temporary.
Here you can download v1.0.8 and update manually.

I can see that your link is based on EU while my "locate" tp-link Australia is based on US.
The readme said that my router may not work if I update the wrong firmware.
Why the cloud access is not working after 24 hours?
When I click download based on your link, it talk about "local website" - See Screenshot1.
When I click local website, it didn't have V1.0.8 - See Screenshot2.

That's because it's not published yet on your local Australian portal.
Use this link (US region) and choose "Still Download" to get it - you can get v1.0.9.

Live update still having the same issues as per screenshot2 "unable to connect to cloud server" while I can create the issues in the community.
