Issue Description/Phenomenon:
Some customers report that the router keeps dropping from the internet/modem since 1/7/2022, some mentioned this happens after they upgrade the router firmware to the latest 210901, the internet LED on the router would turn red/amber. This can be temporarily fixed by rebooting, power cycling, or releasing and renewing the WAN IP address on the router web GUI. How to upgrade the router firmware, please follow this guide.
If the dropping issue persists after performing the firmware update as mentioned above, it is suggested to comment below, or email support.forum@tp-link.com with the subject [Forum ID 521268] Archer AX20 Drops Internet Connection Since 1/7/2022. In either case, be sure to provide the following information:
1. Who is your ISP? What's the model of the modem?
2. Save and email the System Log on the router (System Tools > System Log). Don't reboot the router, if the internet doesn't recover automatically, please login to the router page, go to Advanced > Network > Internet, click on the Connect/Disconnect to recover the connection on the router.

@NewTP I'm trying to update the firmware on my AX20 v1.2, but always get an "upload error" when trying to manually update the firmware with the beta in this thread. I downloaded this file "c6u_eu-up-ver1-0-6-P1[20220128-rel57518]_beta.zip" which I believe you'd indicated corrected this issue.
I tried on both a PC and a Mac, via Chrome, Edge, and Safari. I have 2 of the same model routers, and both systems exhibit the same behavior for both the connectivity and the error when trying to update the firmware.

Did you unzip that .zip file? When choosing the firmware file to upgrade in management webpage, you have to select the .bin file which comes after unzipping the .zip format.

Hello, so I started having this issue with my Archer AX20 v2.0 (AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Router) today. It seems to lose connection and it will only pick it back up when rebooting the router. Only stays on for couple of minutes up to an hour.
What I find strange is that when going to "Download for Archer AX20" selecting V2 and Firmware the newest is Archer AX20(EU)_V2_210901 - Published Date: 2021-11-04
However the current firmware showing on the router is 2.1.6 Build 20220128 rel.15823(4555) which seems to be from 2022. When clicking check for updates it just comes up with "Firmware is up to date."
Any ideas?

@bLE123 2.1.6 Build 20220128 should be the latest version for Archer C20 v2.0, which is published on the local website:

If you are still experiencing an issue with the internet connection, please keep an eye on the internet LED on the AX20 when the issue occurs, will it stay green or it turn orange? It's suggested to follow this guide to do more troubleshooting.

I am facing the same problem with disconnection internet on AX 73. I think this thread is the best for this issue, though there are a few other topics on this forum.
So I haven't had a problem since buy (in the middle of July). but in last few day I have got a lot of "disconnections".
Today (as of the day of writing this post) I had 3 drops. What is annoying router doesn't want to return back. I have to change something in internet connection and save, or Release an Renew internet connection. I've changed DNS to Google, so I am analyzing the situation now (but this shouldn't be a solution, only a temporary workaround).

I am facing the same problem with disconnection internet on AX 73. I think this thread is the best for this issue, though there are a few other topics on this forum.
So I haven't had a problem since buy (in the middle of July). but in last few day I have got a lot of "disconnections".
Today (as of the day of writing this post) I had 3 drops. What is annoying router doesn't want to return back. I have to change something in internet connection and save, or Release an Renew internet connection. I've changed DNS to Google, so I am analyzing the situation now (but this shouldn't be a solution, only a temporary workaround).

Can I know who is your ISP? What kind of WAN Connection Type you are using on the AX73?
Have you ever tested if you can still get a stable connection if you connect a computer directly to the ISP modem? There are cases where the ISP internet or modem may run into an issue and you may get the disconnects on the router.
Does the AX73 still get the correct WAN IP address from the modem when the internet drops on the client devices? Please login to AX73's web interface page to confirm it next time when the issue happens.

My ISP is "East & West" which is Polish local provider in Poznań. Maybe it is not very stable ISP but I had no problems like that before. I had TP-LINK ARCHER C1200 for 5 years and there were no problem with connections like that. I just think that class of router should recover to the good state.
I am using Dynamic WAN connection like here:
As I mentioned before I set primary DNS to Google, and secondary is this which is default from ISP.
And the connection status was marked as "Poor network":
And the logs before resetting:
It seems that the connection was broken from 00:52 to today's morning (I reached it out at 8:30).
After RELEASE and RENEW, connection was back to normal, without restarting Router or Modem. The IP is the same like other things.
In addition the modem is: ARRIS CM3200B (internet from cable TV).
So in my opinion logs are not very useful because there is only information about changing led color instead of a reason of connection problem.
And I think in this class of Router it should be "bulletproof", so it should restart connection or do something with it if there are some problems.

I was using the beta firmware you've given (1.1.0 Build 20220622 rel.36844(4555)) on my AX55 and it was working good, the connection was stable.
Today I've seen there's new firmware available: 1.1.1 Build 20220621 rel.71166
Does this contain the fix for our issue or should I wait with the update?
