Archer AX-20 can't negotiate 1Gbps with another Archer AX-20
I'm currently trying to upgrade my tp-link N600 to an Archer AX-20.
From what I see, the AX-20 can't negotiate a 1Gbps with another AX-20.
Here's my setup:
When I'm connecting the Archer AX-20(1) to the N600 (with the same cables), the laptop is getting 270Mbps (using the speed test of fast.com).
Looking at the management console of AX-20(1), I see this (when connecting the N600):
(LAN 3 shows 1000Mbps)
However, When I connect the other (new) AX-20 (marked at number 2), I get the following in the AX-20(1) management console:
(LAN 3 shows 100Mbps).
From the UI of AX-20 (2), I see this:
I see that 'Internet' is set to 100Mbps. Internet, here, is the link to AX-20(1).
This means (to me) that AX-20(2) can't negotiate a 1Gbps speed with AX-20(1), so I tried changing that. I manually set the negotiation speed to be 1Gbps (in AX-20(2)):
But, something doesn't work when I do that:
I'm not getting any connection from AX-20(2) to AX-20(1).
I've tried upgrading the firmware, resetting the router - and even replacing AX-20(2) to another router in the store, but still - I can't get AX-20(2) to negotiate 1Gbps with AX-20(1).
Any tips?
Thanks.
