Beta Software [Closed]Public Beta Release for Archer AX55 V1 to Enhance Its Ability to Recognize Client Devices
Hello,
We are excited to announce that TP-Link has collaborated with Fing to enhance client device recognition capabilities. This collaboration enables our router to accurately identify and categorize the connected client devices.
This improvement brings significant benefits to your network management. By accurately recognizing client device types, you can gain better insights into the device ecosystem of your network, including smartphones, tablets, computers, smart home devices, and more. This will help you manage network resources more effectively, optimize bandwidth allocation, and exercise finer control over devices on the network.
In addition, the beta firmware brings new features to HomeShield Pro parental controls. With the latest update, you can now gain more control over your device by blocking over 2000 apps from various categories, such as TikTok, Minecraft, and Discord. Additionally, you have the flexibility to set up app time limits or always allow your favorite and frequently-used apps.
If you are experiencing some issues with the client device recognition on Archer AX55 V1, or are interested in the new HomeShied parental control features, it is highly recommended to try this beta firmware.
