5G not stable and impacting wifi network and restarts
![](/avatar/avatar-22.png)
Hello ,
I have upgraded from LTE 4G router to 5G router Archer NX200 however since that time I'm suffering big time from instability of internet connection and wifi clients keep being unable to access the network .
When the issue happens all wifi clients gets kicked out from the network , I have to plug device to router's direct LAN and udpate channel from 11 to Auto or vise versa , which makes client able to login to network again.
Another symptom of the issue that internet suddenly get "disconnected" mode and shows message to configure DNS manually , most of the time this get followed by automatic restarts by the router. Nevertheless, I have to manually restarts it and make the change in wireless and save to get access again.
TP-Link support is not helping , i have an active ticket and no resolution is provided till now !!
I was able to get the logs towards external rsyslog system , below logs in red shows the time just before the wifi client got kicked out , mac address were modified for privacy

@JJUK You have to let people know which version you have. I have V1 and it was an absolute nightmare to set up. Had to downgrade firmware back to 1.15. For the external antenna, it wouldnt let me turn the option on from my phone and there is no option in web interface. Tried with different devices and finally suceeded with an old Android tablet. (Also during the set-up process, my phone IP settings were changed to static. That created a whole other issue since I didnt know it had been changed and couldnt access the network because of course DNS. If I had bought it from a store, I would have returned it same day. But since I got it from Amazon, and I didnt feel like dealing with that fun just yet, I messed with it for a whole Saturday. Am done with TP-LINK to be honest. I expect stuff to work as advertised when I am paying hundreds of euros for it.
