Model: M7650
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Bought a device from ebay and it seemed stuck in a boot loop. I found the recovery tools on here which appeared to be for this device and made sure I could see it in fastboot which I could. Unfortunately something seems to have gone wrong with the process and now it just boots to the tp-link logo rather than constant rebooting (I'm presuming the bootloader perhaps corrupted in the process). It doesnt appear on usb at all. Anything I can do now? I'm an electrinics engineer and could probably hook up jtag or similar if someone has the right files or a detailed recovery process.

Its an M7650(EU) v1.1 on the sticker under the battery. I'm wondering ig the Qualcomm Emergency Downloader might work although I dont see that appearing on usb as it boots so would welcome any suggestions as we dont have volume keys like the phones do to access any of these modes.

please have a detailed description about all the operations you have done to the deivce since you got it, and if possible, show the logs of  the recovery  tools you have tried.

there are a few more questions:

1. what do you mean by  "I could see it in fastboot ", and how do you do it?

2. How do you get the device into edl mode? what's the m7650 shown in the device manager after you connect it to a PC?

3. Do you have a qualcomm usb driver ?
