Firmware 1.6.3 Build 24112112 Rel. 78921
Hello Team,
I am experiencing some major network stability issues with my dimmer switches and security camera's on the 2.4g network. It was fine prior to this firmware update. They would show online 1 sec then offline. Everytime I reboot my Deco network, i get different devices reporting offline when they were online prior to the reboot. When I go into the deco app I can see that they are connected. How can I downgrade the firmware? I do not see the current firmware version listed on the Canadian TP Link website.
Please advise.
TIA!

I have experienced similar problems with Deco X50 (V 1.0) and firmware 1.6.3 Build 24112112 Rel. 78921. One of my cameras (Reolink Argus 4) stopped working and I had to reset it many times. Rolled back to 1.6.1 and camera is now working well. The strangest thing is that I have 6 Reolink cameras and all of them were worning well with 1.6.3 firmware. The only one which didn't work was the Argus 4 model; Agus 3 and Argus Track models were working correctly. Deco App was showing Argus 4 as if it was connected by LAN cable and not by wi.fi, that was the only difference I noticed. Initially I contacted Reolink bacause I was thinking of a camera malfunction but then I remembered I had updated the firmware two days before... My actual setup is 3 x DecoX50 (one acts as main router), 1 x Deco M4 e 1 X Deco X50 Outdoor. Most of them are connected by Ethernet, only two Decos X50 are wireless connected between them. By creating a IOT dedicated network and by using that network with Argus 4, it was correctly working even with 1.6.3 firmware. However I rolled back firmware for security purpose

I have same stability problems after Fw update to 1.6.3. Affected devices Fronius inverter, Esp based IoT devices. The solution was to downgrade to X50v1_en_1.6.1 Build 20241010 Rel. 65389_US_EU_JP_CA_up.bin

I successfully downgrade a satellite DECO, but I was unable to downgrade the main DECO because the message "Upgrade failed. Please select the latest version of firmware to upgrade.”
Could you suggest how to install the precipua firmware on the main DECO too?

I think Tp-Link should retire 1.6.3 firmware and release it when it will be corrected. I can't figure how it is still being distributed...

@Fabio25 certainly should be classed as a beta release and come with warning. Not a public release fit for purpose

@David-TP earlier you said that engineers could reproduce the issues. And that there is no solution yet. Why is 1.6.3 still downloadable from TP-Link website as official firmware?
