X50 satellite unit flashing red

Just set up my main x50 unit with no issues but the satellite unit has gone from green to flashing red without ever going blue. This is a new out of the box system, I have rebooted the unit multiple times, moved it next to the main unit and used the reset button but nothing has worked.
How do I fix this?

Hi, welcome to the community.
The Wi-Fi 6 Deco is pre-configured and after the main Deco is set up successfully, satellite units will join the network automatically without extra configuration.
Did you purchase the Deco from an online/local store, or was the Deco provided by your internet service provider?
What is the LED status on this satellite Deco? is it still flashing red
Could you please leave a message with the MAC address on this Deco?

@David-TP hi the units were supplied by our broadband provider OneNZ. The unit is still flashing red. I tried plugging it in directly to the LAN from the modem but it still flashes red.

Hi, If there is still a default Wi-Fi SSID-Deco_2B68, this unit should still be in set-up-ready mode.
If we ignore the LED status, then go to Deco APP>"+" On the top right>Add a Deco unit, are you able to finish the setup process?

@David-TP the deco unit which is flashing red (wireless unit) does not appear when I search for it on the Deco app. The wired unit is working normally. When I tried to swap the units to see if i could get the wireless unit to work when it was wired it still just flashed red and did not work.

I think you could need to contact the ISP for a new pair of Deco X50.
