When a description entry is attempted  in the Binding list description field no matter what the name is an error message stating "the to-be-added address already exists". This problem is simple a description field entry which is optional and cannot be entered.

 

This is on Firmware version 1.1.1.1 build 20210315 rel 406307(5553)

Hi,

 

Is it the same for all four entries in your binding list or is only the fourth entry affected?

 

If you just click the "paper-and-pen" icon and then click "Save" right after that (without touching the description field) does it also give you that error?

The problem appears to be a DHCP server entry already exists for that specific entry. Once it is removed I can enter a description.

I should still be able to provide an entry for the description even if a DHCP entry already exists ?

Well, if you have a duplicate entry the error message is very reasonable to appear.

If you insist to put a description for the duplicated (disabled) entry in question try the following:

 

 

Modify the Description field for that entry.

Uncheck "Enable This Entry" box before saving the entry.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@terziyski I have enabled but the same error occurs.

 

there should be no reason for the entry not to be allowed.
