Besides the beta firmware, it is also planned to release the official firmware for Band selection. Keep an eye on the official website or router web GUI for the new updates.
If you are not sure about how to select the band manually on the router web interface, check the instructions below:

You are right about Huawei ..I purchased this assuming that this would be better than my stock Huawei router (given free of charge by my ISP). Sad part is stock router is better in performance and more reliable.

Please make a firmware for Archer MR400 V3 EU that can do network search manually!
It always forces me to pick network A while I inserted Sim Card for network B.

Hi,
I have the MR200 v4 and I need LTE band selection with the OneMesh option too.
Is this latest beta version compatible also with MR200 V4?
Thank you.

You can try it and see it. If it doesn't do onemesh, you can always go back to the latest official firmware.
However, mind you that you quoted a link for different products.
This is what meant for MR200 V4 as its title clearly states:
Archer MR200(EU)_V3/V4, Archer MR400(EU)_V2/V3, TL-MR6400(EU)_V3/V4, TL-MR150(EU)_V1:

Hi Arion,
thank you for your reply.
I already tried the firmware you suggested, but it provides only the 4G band selection without onemesh.
The official firmware obviously support onemesh but there is no 4G band selection option.
Since I need both functionality I asked to @Kevin_Z if is possible to have a new firmware with both these options.
In the post #108, after the request of an user of this forum (post #107), @TP-Link provided a new beta version for Archer MR400(EU) V4 that should include both 4G band selection and onemesh functionalities.
Since MR200 and MR400 are very similar I asked if the following last beta firmware released for MR400 is also compatible with my MR200 V4.
If it is not compatible, could you arrange a new version with both functionalities also for MR200 v4.
Thank you.
