If you have experienced an issue of disconnecting or slowness on the 4G Wi-Fi router’s network due to the auto band selection, Please download and install the following beta firmware on the router to manually fix the band.

Please be sure you have read The Beta Test Agreement before proceeding!

Note: For MR600 v1/v2, Please note that not all combinations of the 4G bands are supported in 4G+ mode. Only when the router and the SIM card support the same combinations of 4G band in 4G+ mode, the bands might be aggregated successfully.

Besides the beta firmware, it is also planned to release the official firmware for Band selection. Keep an eye on the official website or router web GUI for the new updates.

Any idea if band 1+3 carrier aggregation will ever work on the MR600 ? I suppose this is a hardware limitation that will never be possible?

I've locked BAND 3, BAND 40 on my MR600 V2 router but in the status page only B40 alone showing not showing BAND3. I'm using Jio 4G. Any solution to this? Or Version 2 rounters behaves such?

LoL, We inching towards the second birthday!!

The one you shared is not the first beta to support band selection. It was actually released in April 2020. I hope, MR600v1 would have reached its EOL by the time @TP-Link releases stable firmware.

Hi, actually I see your mode is Archer MR400 v4 and you are already on the beat firmware which allows selecting the 4G bands.
