Besides the beta firmware, it is also planned to release the official firmware for Band selection. Keep an eye on the official website or router web GUI for the new updates.
If you are not sure about how to select the band manually on the router web interface, check the instructions below:

Don't bother youself bro, there is no real support in tp link, they released beta version of band selection framwares more than one year ago and still they don't release final versions, and they have no any plan to release, they don't support us. If you want to be comfortable and be happy with your router, go and buy Huawei routers, they have any option you need

Hi, thank you for the offer.
I would be glad to invite you to test the firmware once there is a beta firmware for MR6400 v2.

That is why I have told you. I know it is difficult to test updates on all devices. And it is more difficult if the device already has a time from launch.
When you have a beta I can test it and inform you.
Best regards

Hi, I did not see your current firmware in the database, and is this the first version of your modem?
Or did you update this firmware somewhere else?
Could you please send me a private message about the MAC address of your modem?
Thank you very much.

I just bought the Router and it asked me to update the firmware. So it should be official.
What do you mean by 'first version of your modem'?
Just send you the mac addressb of the LTE modem.
Thanks.
