Model: TL-MR6400
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I have 3 x TL-MR6400 routers, and I want to set them up the following way:

Router 2 is connected to Router 1 over 3G/4G using IPSec

Router 3 is connected to Router 1 over 3G/4G using IPSec

The only Internet-communication to and from Router 2 should be with Router 1, anything else should be blocked

The only Internet-communication to and from Router 3 should be with Router 1, anything else should be blocked.

Is there a way to do this?

Also, is there a way to use OpenVPN of IPSec to connect the routers?

Hi,

You can setup IPsec VPN to build the connection between router 1 and router 2/ router 1 and router 3;  You can refer to page 56-58.

https://static.tp-link.com/2018/201807/20180702/1910012415_TL-MR6400(EU)_3.0_UG_REV3.0.0%200629.pdf

While in this way, router 2 and router 3 can access each other, if you want to block the connection between them, you need a business level router with ACL function to do that.

Good day.
