Does the Archer NX200 Support Bridge Mode or IP Passthrough?
Hello everyone,
I’m thinking of getting the TP-Link Archer NX200 and need to confirm if it supports bridge mode or IP passthrough. My goal is to pass the public IP to a second router I have in my setup. If anyone knows whether this model has those options, or if there’s another 5G router you’d recommend that supports bridge mode or IP passthrough, I’d really appreciate the advice.
Thank you!

Hi, Thanks for the message.
Most SIM carriers use CG-NAT service and the issued internet/IPV4 addresses are usually private reserved IP addresses.
Have you also already requested a public IP address from the ISP?
Archer NX200 doesn't support Bridge mode or IP pass-through. But Archer NX200 supports "DMZ" which works quite similar to IP pass-through.
Here is the management emulator of Archer NX200 for your reference:

Hi @David-TP,
Thank you very much for the quick response and helpful information! I actually have no trouble obtaining a public IP from my ISP using an older 4G router set to bridge mode, so I was hoping to achieve the same with the Archer NX200.
Regarding the firmware you mentioned for the Deco X50-5G (version 1.1.5), I noticed that there’s no longer any mention of bridge mode in the firmware description.
Thanks again for your support!
Best regards,
Douro
