Model: Archer NX200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Firmware Version:1.4.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240814 Rel.58842n

I cannot get Port Forwarding to work on my clients NX200, for connecting remotely to a Synology NAS with ports 5000, 5001 and 1723. The NAS is provinding VPN Server. It is connected to the internet using an EE 5G SIM sucessfully and has been assigned a dynamic Public IP address, DDNS is used to provide remote connectivity. When trying to connect to the NAS driver remotely it fails. It is not possible to remotely PING the site. When a remote port scan is performed, it fails with Host Down. The DDNS IP address is the same address as returned by whatsmyipaddress on site.

The Internet status on the NX200 is showing as not connected, although clients are able to get internet access.

I have also tried setting up the NX200 VPV, but connectivity to this also fails.

Any help will be greatfully recieved.

Hi, thanks for your sharing~

Yes,  your router got a private IP instead of public IP, which is the reason.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm what is the IP address you can see from the web interface of the router?

You may refer to the thread to confirm.

The internet status is:

WAN Interface MBB

IP address: 10.114.134.69

Subnet: 255.255.255.192

Default Gateway: 10.114.134.97

DDNS returns: 103.224.182.151 from Synology DDNS

                         31.94.28.163  from  DDNS tplinkdns.com

I think the link you supplied is probably the solution.

Regards

PureITy.
