I have two deco x50 units, the one in the 1st floor was able to connect to the main unit in the 2nd floor with 2.4/5 Ghz, now it only connect to 2.4 GHz, how to make it able again to use 5GHz, and is there any way to force it to use 5 GHz?

You may reboot or factory reset the satellite Deco, and reconfigure it near main Deco.
Then you may follow this guide to select a preferred signal source on the Deco App.

After following the guide, I found that Connection Preferences option does not exist in my Deco App, I'm still struggling to connect it to 5GHz.
Hi, did you update Deco app to latest from Google Play or Apple Store?
If so, please share the model and OS of your phone.
It is also suggested to share us app log using the email address your registered on the community (referring to this thread).
The 5Ghz band is more sensitive to distance and obstacles than the 2.4 Ghz band.
Does the satellite connect via both bands when it is closed to the main?
