on the interface page near the bottom it has IPv4 address, dynamic or static, i've already setup a pppoe connection with dynamic, how do i make a static one?, i've tried putting something like IP: 192.168.1.30, subnet mask: 255.255.255.255, default gateway: 192.168.1.1, but then i get a message that says 'lan ip and wan ip cannot be set in the same network', how do i setup static IPv4 address?

Why do you use a static one?
The connection type should be selected according to your ISP. Your ISP didn't provide a static IP but username and password, right? If so, you cannot use static IP for internet connection.
If there is static IP, default gateway, DNS given by your ISP, you should select Static IP instead of PPPoE/PPPoA during Quick Setup.
Confirm with your ISP. 192.168.1.30 is not the right one. The IP given by your ISP should be a public one.
