Archer BE 900 v2.6 restarts by itself
Archer BE 900 v2.6 restarts by itself

Hello everyone, I am writing to you because since I bought the device a couple of months ago this event has been increasing and it is probably a hardware issue.
I have seen that there are some similar cases but I am reporting it anyway to see if anyone can help me.
The router suddenly restarts for no reason, sometimes it never restarts for a day, sometimes a couple of times or sometimes often.
I have restored the factory settings to see if this solves it and not much has changed, according to the app I have the latest version of the firmware.
Has anyone had a solution from TP-Link or is it a hardware problem and just a failed product?

@sgt_nantz I have the same issue do you find anything that help you to solve this??
@meni Thank you for following up on this topic.
Could you please verify the questions I asked in my previous response to sgt_nantz and provide more details?
When did you purchase the BE900 and when did the issue start to happen? Will it recover by itself or do you need to power it off and then power it back on?

Hello @meni
I'm glad to inform you that Archer BE900 V2 has received a new official firmware enhanced system stability and fixed the bug that the router might reboot itself in special cases. We strongly recommend upgrading to this version to improve the overall experience.
You may check more details in the following thread:

Do let me know if the restart issue gets resolved. Thank you.

Based on the feedback provided by the technical team, I downgraded the version of the firmware from the last one to the 1.0.5 and the router doesn't reboot again so far. The technical team will contact the chip manufacturer in order to find the route cause of this issue.

Thank you very much for your valuable update and I'm happy to hear that the previous 1.0.5 version works.
Please stay with the 1.0.5 version and wait for an official fix.

@Kevin_Z Unfortunately, after a few days of working fine, we had another reboot.
Perhaps it is time to return the product
