how connect entire house to starlink
Hi everyone,
I live in Belgium, in an area with no cellular reception (no Edge/3G/4G).
To solve this, I installed a Starlink antenna on my garden shed since my house is surrounded by trees.
I have the following devices available:
- Archer MR600
- 3 x Deco X60
- 3 + 1 TL-WPA8635P Kit (to connect my garden shed to my house via the powerline)
Could someone advise on the best configuration for these devices? I'd also appreciate a step-by-step guide, as I'm not very tech-savvy.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, welcome to the community.
Do you have Starlink Gen 1, 2, or even 3?
If you plan to use all the products, here is what we can do:
(the expected network layout would be like)
1. Try to identify your Starlink generations and connect the Archer MR600 via an Ethernet cable to the Starlink router.
How to connect Deco with Starlink Gen 1 / Gen 2?

2. Log into the web management page of MR600 and Set Archer MR600 into "Wireless router" mode:

3. set up Deco X60 on the Deco APP (the connection type is dynamic IP)
Other suggestions:
Since both MR600 and Deco X60 are working as wireless routers by default. And to reduce wireless interference and unnecessary wireless signals, please
- Disable the wireless signal on the MR600.

Thank you very much and best regards.

Thank you very much for your very prompt feedback.
I have a Gen 3 Starlink.
Of course, not every device needs to be used, but preferably in the fastest configuration.
To get the signal from the garden house to the main house, I definitely need the powerline. Should I place the Archer in the garden house and connect the powerline there?
That would then go to the Deco in the house, correct?
Our house is like a half-bunker ;-)
Can I connect each Deco to a powerline? Because I notice that the Decos don’t communicate well with each other. How exactly should that be done, or is there a better option?

@jo-hoendersveld
and is the archer necessary?
Can you connect deco through powerline direct to starlink?
and then each deco through a powerline
or ...?

Hi, Thanks for the time and patience.
The Archer MR600 is not necessary. You can connect the main Deco X60 Directly to the Starlink router.
(the powerline link works quite similar to a long Ethernet cable)
The following works as well:
(Please make sure Deco is in "Access Point mode"!)
Or
Starlink router---<cable>---main Deco X60---<cable>---master powerline adapter~~~(electric wire)~~~~powerline extender---<cable>---satellite Deco X60(garden)
(This one is more recommended!)
There are many possible ways for your network connections and the key point would be which one will bring better speed and roaming performance. I can only list some recommended connections but you might need to run field tests on your own to check whether one is actually better in the real situation.
Thank you very much and best regards.
