Model: Archer AXE5400
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20240607

Hi all, I was reading an article about putting your AXE5400 into the access point mode to use with the Quest 3 so I followed the instructions. Now I find I can't reach the router via my browser, so I have no way of returning it to its original setting/ taking it out of access mode.

Is there any way of reversing this if I want to go back to using the router as it was before I changed it?

Yes, there is. Fastest one is to reset the AXE5400 to its factory defaults by pressing the reset button for about 10 seconds.

The other one is to find its IP address on your main router and use http://router_IP_address to login the device and chaneg its operation mode.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

Thanks for the reply, as I'm kinda new to all this, I was wondering is it better for me to keep the router in access mode for my Quest 3 headset or would I be better to go back to the original settings?
