Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Based on TP-Link articles, a backhaul switch must support ieee 1905.1 but when i look at any TP-Link unmanaged switches on the web site, none has the 1905.1 spelled out in the specifications.

So which model has it?  now don't tell me "all models".

  @Zigarooo

Hi, welcome to the community.

Actually, all TP-link network switches support 1905.1. Usually, you could consider the unmanaged switch models and they are plug-and-play.

like TL-SG105/108

best regards.

  @David-TP  Thanks on the reply, reason of the ask is that I'm using a D-Link unmanaged switch and I saw that you all say that those switch can be problematic as they don't support 1905.1, i would agree that D-Link does not mention it on their web site just like TP-Link doesn't either. Don't eant to change my switch based on "guesses".

If TP-Link Deco system requires to have switch which supports 1905.1, then why do you not advertise it ont eh switch web page?

it only says (for the TL-SG105):

Standards and Protocols IEEE 802.3i/802.3u/ 802.3ab/802.3x, IEEE 802.1p

I would love an answer to this too, as I'm currently using a D-Link switch with the XE75 and I'm having all sorts of problems with disconnects/reconnects.  (Then again, I'm having issues with that even when I bypass the switch entirely, and even over wifi with one of my devices.  But the switch seems to make the problem considerably worse.)
