Hi all,

I set up that thingy into CLIENT mode, connecting to a WLAN accesspoint in 5Ghz band.

All working OK so far, (the PC connected via Ethernet is online) but the Router still sends a TP-LINK_3BC7 SSID (plus a hidden one) on channel 8 (i.e. 2.4Ghz range).

How do I switch off that unnecessary 2.4 GHz WLAN?

Here is the WLAN scanner view:

@wOOdy-soft

Hello, thanks for reporting the issue to the community.

Can you please confirm again if the WR902AC is configured into Client mode successfully by following the below instructions?

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2031/

After that, check and see if you can still scan for the 2.4GHz network. BTW, the 5GHz network is no longer visible after the configuration?
