Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V16
Firmware Version: 2.0.16

Can anyone suggest why my work iPhone shows as a new device connecting every time I come back to my house? This only happens on this phone and no other iPhones in the household.

@Shylock

Hi, thanks for the info.

As far as I know, iOS 14 beta periodically changes the MAC address it uses with each Wi-Fi network, so it will be treated as a new device every time it connects. For more details, it is  suggested to refer to the Apple website:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211227

You may disable the "User Private Address" and confirm.

Good days.

Hello,

Can you please confirm what is the hardware version and firmware version of your Deco M9 Plus? Please check if you have updated its firmware to the latest.

Meanwhile, may I know what is the iOS version of your work iPhone and how about the Deco app version?

Thanks.

@TP-Link_Deco

Hi, on the box it says hardware Ver 2.0. But on the app it says 2.0.16

The iOS version is 14 beta. But this is the same on my other iPhone which does not log on as new device each time.
