Hi,
I recently got TD8970 and am using it as a 4G hotspot using airtel 4G (392u-92 modem ). If i set the connection on demand on 3/4G page, the connection never comes up. I do a ping from my pc to 8.8.8.8. In the log, the modem is recognized,
if i ping to 8.8.8.8 from my pc, i get destination unreachable from 192.168.1.1 .
C:\Users\xxxxx>ping 8.8.8.8

I want this "connect on demand", as i dont want to leave it always on mode.
NOTE: I hd previously hd 8968 model, where it use to connect on demand, but it never used 4G modem. it was in 3G mode(speed locked to 2mbps max), bcause my speeds very very less. this message was not see
"216: This is a LTE modem which needs mode switch." but in 8970 i do see this and it connects in 4G mode, so i get better speeds from 2-9mbps.
I hd another 3G modem 1831 which works fine with "connect on demand" mode on 8970. So it looks like the bug in latest version of 8970.
