Deco x50 and DMSS cameras
Weird issue to be honest.
when I use my Starlink router as the mail internet provider and the deco X50 as an access point, the camera app of DMSS works perfectly.
when I put Starlink router on bypass mode and the Drco x50 as the main router there is always a connection problem, cameras are not working. "Failed to play" is the message I'm getting.
All of them are connected by Ethernet on the same tp-link switch, I am not changing anything on the hardware connection, just switching tha main router.
Anybody here with a solution?

Have you tried to change the IPV4 DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 to see whether it helps?
How to change DNS server settings on my Deco
Can I have the current firmware version of the Deco X50?
Could you please also share a screenshot of the error message on the DMSS app?
By the way, can you consistently reproduce the reported issue?

I have changed the DNS, no difference, still getting the same result.
Firmware is 1.6.4
This problem is like 5-6 months now , since day one having the deco. Technically my cameras stop working the day I bought the Deco.

I cannot install it, I have downloaded but when I choose the bin file to upgrade the firmware it just stucks at "uploading" the file and nothing happens.

Hi, on the Deco APP, you can find the IP address of each satellite Deco X50_V1. It is suggested to access the individual web UI of the satellite Deco and upload the bin file to see whether we can update one of the satellite X50s first.

I have same issue with Deco P7 with Starlink. When you pull down DMSS app for refresh, everything works fine
