Model: Archer AXE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: idk yet

well i saw alot of posts here or in reddit talking about issues with this router randmonly disconnecting and so on... ,what i want to know is can i downgrade the software version without getting an erorre massage, how did know that? just people are angery about your services and saying that they cant downgrade the version of the same router i want here is an example : https://www.reddit.com/r/TpLink/comments/1dfaq9g/archer_axe75_updated_software_and_now_devices_are/

I also have the AXE75 v1 and upgraded to the latest firmware a couple of months back. I've had no issues with my 20+ smart devices. I have five Google assistants, Chromecasts, a Nest IQ camera and smoke alarms, lots of Lifx smart bulbs, temp monitors, Somfy smart blinds, washer, dishwasher etc.

I was a bit apprehensive prior to the upgrade (I backed up my config beforehand in case I needed to reset the router) but it all works without issue so I wonder if your upgrade had some unknown issue. Let us know how you get on resetting the router.

what is your explnation and if i cant downgrade would that be covered by the warrenty .thats all

Hi@maybe_idk,

Some new versions of firmware will add advanced features to meet market needs, and direct downgrade may cause functional abnormalities.Upgrading may adjust storage partitions (such as expanding system partitions), and the old firmware cannot recognize the new layout, resulting in flash failure or data loss.

Firmware updates are not necessary, and the choice of updating or not is mainly based on the user's personal needs. If new problems occur after updating the firmware, it is not recommended to downgrade directly. Especially in the release firmware note, it has been clearly mentioned that 'This version upgrade is irreversible, and the upgrade cannot be downgraded to the previous firmware.'

You can contact router support, and we will locate the problem and provide a suitable solution.

Hi@maybe_idk,

You can turn off the Auto Update button on the web interface of the router:
