Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.6.1 Build 20241010 Rel. 65389

Hello, I have a problem, I used to have an Archer c6 and everything worked even when I had IPv6 enabled. I bought a Deco X50 to have faster wifi, but unfortunately when I have IPv6 enabled, I download on Xbox and watch IPtv, so the antenna through which we have internet drops out. Turning the antenna off and on helps, my internet provider was at my service center and checked everything and it supports IPv6. I've already used it with Archer C6, when I connect the Xbox directly to the antenna cable everything works. Unfortunately, when I connect the Deco X50 and turn on IPv6, after a while the antenna drops out and I have to turn it off and on.If I leave IPv4 alone everything works, do you know what it could be?

  @Pepislav I suspect there is a generic IPv6 issue with all current firmware by TP-Link. I just bought a Archer NX200 which works great but IPv6 stops working after a few minutes regardless of the settings I use. My ISP fully supports IPv6 and I had no such issue with another router by a different brand. There are several similar complaints in the forum concerning various routers.

For what it's worth, in my case, if I reestablish the wifi connection with the client IPv6 works immediately again for a few minutes. It's like the router forgets to talk to the client or  drops the route. Maybe the router confuses minutes and seconds with respect to the lease or whatever.

  @ArcherCharlie  It also works for me after turning the antenna on the roof off and on to receive the internet but I can't start downloading, my internet goes out within a few minutes and the Deco lights up red and only turning the antenna on the roof off and on helps. When I have only IPv4 turned on, everything works.

  @Pepislav

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

It is suggested to install the 1.6.4 version here to see whether it helps:

By the way, May I know who your internet service provider is? Did you use "Dynamic IP" for both IPV4 and IPV6 connections?

Can you consistently reproduce this issue in a short time"When I have IPv6 enabled, I download on Xbox and watch IPtv. my internet goes out within a few minutes and the Deco lights up red"?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

involvement  @David-TP

Provider : Amigonet

Antenna on the roof: MikroTik RBnRAYG-60 (nRAY60)

Internet connection type: Dynamic IP

I have prefix delegation turned on.

I'm downloading a game on Xbox and in the next room they're watching TV via IPTV and after a while the internet goes out and the red light on the Deco X50 lights up and I have to turn the antenna on the roof off and on to get the internet to work.
