Model: Deco M9 Plus   Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello, right now I have two separate WiFi ( I want to stay in that setup), the current setup looks like this:

Provider => M9PLUS => WiFi 1 (mesh 2.4/5)

Provider => XE75 => WiFi 2 (6e)

So both main deco are connected to provider by cable and sharing two WiFi at max speed/quality.

It's possible to change and connect the main XE75 by cable to main M9PLUS, and still create two separate WiFi at max speed ?

Provider => M9PLUS => WiFi 1 (mesh 2.4/5)

                     M9PLUS => XE75 => WiFi 2 (6e)

Thanks in advance !!

Hi, sorry for the delay.

The listed topology here actually states two Mesh networks.

How to Create a New Network in the Deco App

If the second Mesh of Deco XE75 still can't have internet access, it is suggested to refer to this link for further troubleshooting:

Unable to connect to the Internet

Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Yes, the topology here works:

Provider => M9PLUS(WiFi 1 2.4+5)=> XE75(WiFi 2/6e)

Out of curiosity, why do you need each Deco to broadcast separate SSIDs?

If you want to have separate SSIDs for 2.4/5/6GHz, you could set Deco XE75 as the main Deco and add Deco M9 plus as a satellite.

As Deco XE75 supports IoT and 6GHz networks, you could have:

SSID#1 for main WiFi network(2.4+5Ghz for both Deco XE75 and M9 Plus)

SSID#2 for 6GHz on Deco XE75 only

SSID#3 for IoT network(2.4GHz) on Deco XE75 only

Best regards.

Provider => M9PLUS(WiFi 1 2.4+5)=> XE75(WiFi 2/6e)

but the internet isnt working for the xe75 when i connect it with ethernet cable in the main m9plus, any tip to me check what im doing wrong

well, prob i dont have right now the skills to setup the way u said, i will take a look and try to undersand it

besides that its just a home network, the main reason i want m9plus as main its because the protection system even if basic, is free

and most of time i saw people saying they lost the 6g when they did mesh with m9plus, and rn my m9plus is mesh
