Firmware Version: 1.2.14 Build 20241223 Rel. 16551

After I've update my XE75 Pro units, devices constantly disconnect. For example when watching tv the streams constantly hangs and I have to manually reconnect the tv to the network again. I've rebooted the modem and decos multiple times now, but the problem persists.
Before the update I had no problems at all. In the list of changes it states that the new firmware should actually resolve this issue. I did nog have any problems before, but now I do. Is there a way to revert back to the previous firmware?

May I confirm whether the unstable connection happened on all client devices? How often did the problem happen?

You may share more details about the related problem after firmware update.

And are you still using the latest firmware?

The problem is best noticeably on the TV while streaming content, but my wife's laptop and daughters iPhone seem to disconnect too. I've experienced it my self on my phone a few times but I'm not such a heavy WiFi user. With the newest firmware it disconnects every minute or so. I've installed the older firmware version now and the connection seems a lot more stable now. 
Once in a while there is still a disconnection but way less (maybe once a day) than with the newest firmware. I don't think everything disconnects at the same time. It seems random.

While we had the problem I switched to another WiFi network to make sure it wasn't the device itself that caused the problem. The other network worked just fine. The TV is a Sony AR-65A80K that runs on GoogleTV.

@Marvin_S I have the same issue, started like a month ago and mostly on IOT (cameras, printers, smart wall switches) devices, they get randomly disconnected the whole day and randomly connected back again. 

 

I have 3 XE75 Pro Units all of them connected via

WIFI running latest firmware: 1.2.12 Build 20240813 Rel. 3300

 

I have turned off: Fast Roaming and Beamforming.

I have also switched off the "mesh technology " option on each device and set "Connection Preference " to closest node and only 2.4ghz is there a new beta firmware or something that could fix this?

You could install the old firmware. I’ve revert reverted back to 1.2.10 and the problem disappeared again. It might work for you too? There are instructions on how to do it on the website. A quick google pointed me at them. It’s fairly easy to do.
