Repeater takes around 15 min to reconnect to the main router after main router restarts
Dear All,
I have (Archer AX55 v1.0) with Firmware (1.3.3 Build 20240628 rel.37017(4555)) as a main router, and TL-WA850RE V7 with Firmware (1.0.13 Build 231115 Rel.51785n (6985)).
it is connected as range extender, and I disabled the DHCP server on it. I have 2 issues don't know if they are normal or can be fixed:
- When a device connect to the range extender it takes around 30 seconds to 1 min in order to get an IP Address and connects to the internet, while on the main router it takes not more than 2 seconds.
- When the main router is restarted. The Range extender takes around 10 to 15 min to reconnect to the main router, so all the devices connected to range extender will not have internet for this time. But if I unplug and re-plug it to power it connects directly to the main router.
