I've had this for a while, not the usual brand i buy. the experience has been mixed but mostly good. 
However, my VDSL service is in the lower end of speeds available 30mbps, When the router loses connection, even from changing settings it takes a good 3-5 minutes before it starts trying to get a sync. 
Annoyingly, it also starts at the highest sync rate and works its way down, which would be fine if i was using it in another location however i'm not. 
The line speed, will always be that line speed.

1. Speed up the reconnection process

2. Allow the user to set their own maximum sync rate so that the modem doesn't waste time trying to sync a 30mpbs service at 100mpbs
