Firmware Version: 1.0

My DSL modem is connected to UPS power. when my home power switches between too power sources, the modem stays, all Leds stay green (power, DSL, Wifi and internet). however i lose connectivity to from my Laptop and my mobile to the modem. the connection stay visible however the mobile tries to connect and end with saved stated. The laptop stays not able to connect.

Appreciate if someone can help.

For your case, we might need your help to check the following details:

  1. When the TD-W9960 dropped connection, all the devices could still see the Wi-Fi network, but not able to get connected, right?
  2. What did you need to do to recover the connection or would it come back automatically?
  3. Did you have any wired laptop which connected to 9960 via Ethernet cable? And would it have any connection and get an IP address from 9960?
  4. Are you able to log into the 9960 when the connection dropped? If yes, please help me save the system log and advanced>status page on the 9960;

  1. When the TD-W9960 dropped connection, all the devices could still see the Wi-Fi network, but not able to get connected, right? yes right
  2. What did you need to do to recover the connection or would it come back automatically? i should wait 15-20 minutes or turn off turn on device to speed up connection recovery.
  3. Did you have any wired laptop which connected to 9960 via Ethernet cable? No. And would it have any connection and get an IP address from 9960? I tried it, no also not able to get an IP.
  4. Are you able to log into the 9960 when the connection dropped? I tried it and no i can't If yes, please help me save the system log and advanced>status page on the 9960;
