I'm trying to update the firmware on PG2400P Powerline Adaptors - how can I download the latest firmware so I can update the firmware locally using the tpPLC app?

Hi@SteveR62,
There are two ways to update firmware for different types of TP-Link powerline devices.
For models without Wi-Fi capability, TL-PAxxxx or PGxxxx
1) Download the firmware of your powerline model here: https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/.
2) Download and install the PLC utilty from here: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/pgw2440-kit/#Utility.
3) Open the PLC Utility, click the powerline device that you want to upgrade, go to "Advanced > Update".
4) You might see different file formats required for different powerline models (including .NVM, .PIB, .GGL, .BIN, etc), please refer to https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1614/ for details.

@SteveR62 I'd like to add that I can get to the point where I have dowloaded and extracted Build 20221213 - however, I can't execute the .ftp file in the download...

@Joseph-TP Many thanks for this - I did eventually manage to update the firmware on both devices using this approach.
However, the firmware did not resolve the issue and the powerline is still not connecting (solid orange state).
It seems too much of a coincidence that this issue started on the day my property was updated to full fibre and a new router was installed - from your obvious technical knowledge of the product, can you confirm if PG2400P powerline product still compatible with newer routers or if there is a setting I need to make to enable compatibility? (everything else in the house is working fine with the new router)
