So purchased another set of the PG2400, went to the utility and did a firmware check the plugs I've just purchased have a firmware revision of

The plug has already Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20221213 Rel.62540 where is this firmware file?

In case your PG2400P Kit is made for the "EU" region, then the firmware for it can be found here. https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/pg2400p-kit/#Firmware
