Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: WITH ALL version there is SAME PROBLEM

I've the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi netwark with 2 id that are NOT the same.

Usually, i've ON the 5ghz wifi with the name "pippo" and the 2.4ghz wifi, with the name "pippo_n", is off-line. The smart connect is always in off state.

If by app i set the 2.4 ghz wifi "on", the app automaticaly sets the name of 5ghz wifi (in origin "pippo") the same of 2.4ghz wifi (pippo_n). So the app does't permit to turn back the name of 5ghz wifi as "pippo" as its original name. If i try by app to rename 5ghz wifi, after few seconds the name back to the same name of 2.4ghz wifi name.

it's a very severe problem because if i turn on the 2.4 ghz wifi far away from home,  all the wifi in house at 5ghz go down wit all the security problem for remote camera, alarm etC.

Please, can you solve the problem?

thanks

Enrico

  @darkeyes7777

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Update Tether app to latest from Google Play or Apple Store.

2. Go to the web UI of the router to check the Smart Connect settings.

3. Update firmware to latest according to the official website.

You may also contact local technical support hotline for direct help.

Best regards.
