Hello,

I have a iphone se 2020 with 18.1.1 IOS and a tp-link RE315 configurated as an access point: 

My phone connects to the Wi-Fi but says that there is no internet connection. I have already tried not having a randomized MAC address but it still does't work.

Can someone help me?

Hi@ines05,

Please make sure you have correctly configured the Access point mode for RE315. For example, which LED lights are on now?
Have you tested other clients? Can they get network from RE315 normally?

If there are any error messages, please take screenshots and send here.

 

Please confirm that you have set the RE315 to Access Point mode correctly:

For Tether App: How to configure Range Extender as an Access Point via Tether APP
For Web Management Interface: How to configure the range extender as an access point (new logo)

Thank you for your reply.

All LEDs are on except the one with the Wi-Fi symbol. 

I believe that the access point is configured correctly as my computer is working with its Wi-Fi, but my phone isnt.

Even in AP mode, you're still using RE315 wireless radio. Make sure you've disabled RE315 DHCP server to avoid any IP address mismatch.

You should have only one DHCP server in your local network - your main router DHCP server.

Make sure that you don't have any Whitelist or Parental Controls configured on your main router. Post here your iPhone wireless settings received by the DHCP..

I've reconfigured my RE315 like you suggested and it still doesnt work. My iphone connects to the Wi-Fi but then it says that it has no connection.
