Thank you very much for the quick update. I'm glad to hear that the Traffic Usage Overview issue has been fixed on the latest Tether App.

 

I will request the development team to review and make sure the same fix will be included on the Android App as well.

Sorry, but unfortunately we have to take a step back. I was probably too excited yesterday as far as iOS was concerned, because the problem has not really been resolved in the Tether app for iOS.

As you can see in the screenshots, a realistic value is again displayed for today, January 23, 2025, and 3 clients with data traffic are shown. These 3 clients were online today from 5 am to 6 am and connected wireless to the BE550.

But when I look at yesterday's data traffic, there is only data traffic for the period from 7 pm to the end of the day. The data traffic that was still visible yesterday morning, see screenshot from yesterday's post (#28), is now gone on iOS.

For a direct comparison, this is what it looks like this morning in Tether app on Android.

The screenshots in the Tether app (iOS and Android) were all taken on January 23, 2025 in the morning, from 6:51 am to 6:53 am. (time zone GMT+1).

I made the update and after BE550 says there is no internet connection. 
 

I am using BE550 as an AP and didnt had any issues until last update(1.1.1 Build 20241230 rel.20267)

Its so frustrating! Have done factory reset, changed to normal Router, back to AP and none of those options worked.

1. Where there any features removed and no longer accessible to the user with this firmware? 

2. Also "Optimized USB sharing performance." ?

What was optimized? I wanted to use the "Media Sharing - View photos, play music and watch movies stored on the USB storage device via the access address." feature but realised it was failing far before the approximate 10,000 files and folder limit of DLNA(ie: important limit information missing from the features product description) so it became useless.

Also, it would not update without deleting the hidden index folder created on the drive.

Can we get more detail on what was meant by this update statement?

I attempted to upgrade my BE550 to this firmware remotely while I am overseas. I used the Tether app on my iPhone to select the BE550, and went through the steps to download and upgrade the firmware. Everything seemed to have worked OK, but the device did not come back online. It now shows up in the Tether app as "offline", and I cannot ping my public static IP address any more.

Since I am away from home, is there anything I can do now to access the device remotely? Should I ask a friend to go to my home and reboot the device, will that help?

Any advice on this situation is appreciated.

Ok, my router updated firmware, but for the moment negative feedback. Unstable within one hour restarted twice.
