I have connected my laptop to the routert

I have got to this page I don't know or have a password so I click forgot password. It says to reset the router which I do but just get back to this page again.

How do I get out of this loop and set up thew router?

Ok. That looks like a regular retail version of the Archer AX55.

So perhaps the reset you performed earlier wasn't successful. To reset the AX55 make sure the AX55 is powered on and has booted up (wait at least 2 minutes after you've plugged in the power adapter) and then press and hold the small "Reset" button (inside the hole) for at least 8 seconds and then release the button. You should see all LEDs on the router turn on and then off momentarily.

Hi,

If this is a regular retail version of the router, then a successful reset should have cleared the existing password.

Can you please look at the serial number label of your AX3000 router (found at the bottom or the backside of the router) and report back the full "Model" description? (something like "Model: Archer ******(**)  Ver: *.*")
