Hi, i have a TP link router as well as two range extenders (they are different models as i got them at different times). The WiFi in the house is fine, but certain devices seem to have trouble connecting to the internet despite the WiFi being connected. The same WiFi is connected on other devices and the internet is working on one device at the same time as another device is saying no internet. The devices that have had no issues tend to be my apple products (phone, iPad), whereas laptops running Windows (HP, Lenovo) have the dodgy internet. It seems as though either the router or extenders are preventing the devices from accessing the internet, as it tends to happen most when the devices first turn on. The internet comes on for a moment and then goes off, with the WiFi connected the whole time. Any advice on how to deal with this issue to make the internet more consistent would be much appreciated! Thank you.

  @Barrels,

If you are experiencing intermittent wireless connection on the range extender, please refer to the following suggestions:
1. Confirm the extender is properly located based on https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/3103/.
2. Make sure the firmware on the extender is up-to-date.
3. Enable “High Speed” mode if you have a dual-band extender.
4. Disable Parental Control or Access Control (Blacklist/ Whitelist) on the host router if they have been enabled for the extender.
5. Turn off Band Steering (also called "Smart Connect" or "Whole-Home Wi-Fi") and set up different Wireless names for the router's 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wi-Fi.
6. Fix the wireless channels on the host router, such as channel 11 for 2.4GHz and channel 48 for 5GHz.
