Model: Archer VR1600v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 220518 Rel.32480n

Recently, my household switched NBN providers from iiNet to Amaysim in order to get faster download / upload speeds. Since switching providers, we have not been able to see a significant difference in specifically our upload speeds. Our current plan has promised us 22Mbps upload and instead we are currently getting around 0.5Mbps. We've contacted Amaysim and they have in response given us a list of potential solutions to this issue. One of these solutions being to "update the firmware of the router". Unfortunately I was unable to find the newest firmware update for my router (Archer VR1600v V1) and was wondering where I could find it? If someone could send me the file that would be greatly appreciated as if not, we might need to buy a new router to fix this issue.

Hi, welcome to our community.

Archer VR1600v is a customized model by some ISPs only, it is a pity that we can know much less than common DSL modem routers.

For the firmware update, it is suggested to contact iiNET if they provided you with this product before or local technical support.

Thank you and best regards.
