Hi, 

 

I've had the Deco PX50 network since July and have always had issues with sporadic drop out of internet connection. I have 1 main and 2 satellite units with the main connected to a Sky full fibre router and the Deco set up as an Access Point. The wifi connection is strong throughout the house and some of the time the connection is fast and stable, then all of a sudden the internet connection just drops off. It happens at random across various devices. The wifi signal is always full bars and if I connect directly to the sky router the connection is lightening quick and stable. I have a daily reboot schedule set up and all device are kept at the latest firmware versions.  

 

I have seen some trouble shooting articles saying to set the DNS to manual 8.8.8.8 but the screens shots showing Internet Connection on the app to make this change are not available on my version of the app nor on the browser version either. 

 

Can anyone offer any advice as I am not far from chucking the whole thing out.

First, the guide is for your reference to know about the difference between router mode and AP mode on Deco.

And you may refer to this guide to change DNS. But as your Decos work as AP mode, it does not support to change DNS.

For your situation, may I confirm does the same issue happen if you use router mode on Deco?
