I have a Network consisting of 2 Deco X50 units which are linked via cable. On both of them one device is connected via cable as well. Overall performance is excellent, however sometimes (from once a week up to 3 times a day) Internet connection is lost, both Decos turn red and the App shows thr error "Cannot connect to internet". When I unplug and plug in the internet cable, both Decos turn instantly green and everything is fine again.

 

Does anybody have an Idea how to solve this?

 

I have already tried the following:

- Internet connection from ISP is available all the time

- I tried different LAN ports on the Decos

- Fast Roaming/Beamform option on/off

- Turned IPv6 on/off

- Tried various DNS Servers

- Swapped Main/Secondary Deco

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

First, it is suggested to update firmware to the latest on Deco app.

If the issue remains, when the problem happens again next time, please check the connection stability from your ISP’s modem. Disconnect the main Deco from the modem, then connect a PC or an old router directly to the ISP modem to check the network stability by Ping www.google.com for at least 1 minute. If there is packet loss or if the internet is unavailable, please contact your ISP or modem for support.
