Phenomenon Description:

Occasionally, users reported that certain websites can't be accessed when connecting to Archer NX200 using an EE SIM card.  Upon further investigation, we found UK EE uses XLAT technology but the Archer NX200 does not yet support it. Therefore, when using dual stack dialing (IPv6 & IPv4), NX200 can only obtain an IPv6 address without an IPv4 address. Consequently, websites that do not support IPv6 cannot be accessed successfully.

 

 

Available Solutions:

  • Archer NX200 is planned to support XLAT technology later via future firmware upgrades.
  • Currently, please manually create the following profile.

PDP Type: IPv4
APN Type: Static
User name: eesecure
Password: secure
Authenticate Method: None

 

 

If your current SIM Operator also uses XLAT technology and has a similar issue, it is also suggested to set the PDP type to IPV4 only.

  @David-TP I've been looking for almost a week for a solution to this problem and finally this is it. I've bought 2 other sims and had awful connection on them both and was determined to stick with EE.

SAME PROBLEM How can a company like TP link miss on such a important feature


For me i am using JIO ( INDIA ) and switching to IP4 only doesnt work

 when can we expect an update on XLAT i have also bought NX200 and stuck on IPV6 with jio carier , however xlat is enabled in MR600 so if the devs can take reference from that it would speedup the process, or returning the unit is ultimate solution..? @David-TP

if they wanted, it will take TPLINK 1 day but they will not this is why no one buys TP LINK anymore, slow updates, and lack of communication with customers

Problem is airtel works fine. but its limited to 300 GB monthly And i already have 4G routers, 3 of them infact, never got a stable update on them as well

  @xdxfr345 does ipv4 works with airtel..?, besides airtel provides unlimited 5g with postpaid right.
