The official version 1.1.3 has been gradually released. This update resolves the issue mentioned here in this topic regarding no internet when the router is connected to NordVPN via the VPN client.
Users can check for updates on the BE230/BE3600's web interface or through the Tether App and install the latest version manually.
If you can't find version 1.1.3, please download the firmware from the local website and upgrade manually.

Phenomenon Description:
After updating the router's firmware to version 1.1.1 Build 20240912, some users have reported that the VPN Client status shows as connected but the client devices fail to access the internet after being granted VPN access.

Workaround:
We understand this can be frustrating. Our development team has provided beta software to address this issue. If you're experiencing a similar problem, please upgrade and install the beta software on your Archer BE230/BE3600, then check if the OpenVPN connection works properly.

If this beta software doesn't resolve the issue and you still can't access the internet after connecting to an OpenVPN Server, please ensure you can connect to the OpenVPN Server directly using the OpenVPN application on a phone or computer, then provide the following details.
1. Model number, hardware, and firmware version of your TP-Link Router.
2. What kind of VPN server you are connecting to?
3. Which VPN type are you using on the TP-Link router, OpenVPN or WireGuard?
