Reduced (half!) speeds from main PX50 connected to supplier router
Hello,
I run 2x PX50 with a XE50-PoE for a mesh network.
The mesh network works fine except for the speeds of the main PX50 Deco plugged to the router.
I am in UK with EE (part of BT) on a medium Fibre broadband.
The advertised speeds are 65.5Mb/s - 72.8Mb/s download and 16.4Mb/s - 18.2Mb/s upload.
When running speed tests on the original router through ethernet, the download speed runs around 74Mb/s, upload 18Mb/s, so quite good.
When I run the same tests on the PX50 itself plugged to the main router through ethernet I get 34/42Mb/s downlaod speeds, 12/14Mb/s upload speeds.
I am connected through ethernet again to the PX50, so how come I get such a loss?
The cable linking the PX50 to the supplier router is not the issue, I get exactly the same good results from the original router when tested through it.
And the WiFi speeds I get from the PX50 are very similar to the reduced speeds of the ethernet conencted ones.
I am loosing almost 50% of my speeds, quite a lot.
Can anybody advise maybe on a specific setting I might be doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help.
