Model: Archer NX200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.0 3.0.0

I have recently bought NX200 and expect to build a mesh network with my RE605X v1.0 1.0.4. But I am not able to make a single network, it always creates EXT network. Is there a way to solve this?

Hi, yes, the main Deco needs to be connected to your Archer NX200 via Ethernet cable if NX200 is your internet source.

Archer AX23 or AX55 can work as AP mode, but it is still different network from your NX200's, like RE605X.

  @Staed

 Check your RE605X version, Only selected version support/compatible easymesh. Older could be only onemesh.

  @Staed

I remember tp-link listing product and version numbers, I can see amazon listing packings with image of onemesh or easymesh seperately for AX1500 series.

I also see you have 1.3.0 firmware but this is not available anywhere except thailand as country specific.

Ok.  Seems all new device coming with new firmware.

I too bought week ago and suprised  it is still v1 and old firmware.  I dont see much difference in 8 antenna NX200 vs Samsung M23 (tethering) in 5G reception.

I suggest to think on mesh option for multi-storey than range-extenders.

Hi, if your house is 3 floors, it is more suggested to consider the Deco mesh network.

You may refer to this guide to know more: Can Deco Mesh, OneMesh, EasyMesh and Omada Mesh products work together?

  @Marvin_S getting back to your suggestion...

If to get a deco stuff, that means you offer to connect deco device by cable from nx200? and build a separate network?

Can I get something like archer ax23 or ax55 and connect it as access point via wifi to my nx200? from what I see now, my extender give some signal to the ground floor, so more powerful device will cover it (I don't need there great speed)
