All satellites are correctly hardwired with ethernet backhaul but are shown on deco app as wirelessly connected to main deco. Speeds I get from satellites confirm they are using ethernet backhaul despite appearing as wifi backhaul on the app (given the materials and layout of my house it would be impossible to get those speeds nor even close with wifi backhaul) so problem is not cables.

 

Also, all devices appear connected to main deco instead of their respective satellites but works just fine so they are actually connecting to the satellite (once more, materials and layout of the house make impossible for devices to work fine when connecting to main deco wirelessly).

 

On web admin, all satellites appear as offline but I am wiithout a doubt using them fine and they have green lights.

 

Finally, I see ECO MODE on More tab on the app, which was always missing since (I guess) the X50 does not support it, but now it appears there and I am able to "use" it.

 

I have rebooted all decos several times without any change in this behavior.

 

NEW PRICE OF INFORMATION: I have restarted all decos AND ISP modem and everything remains the same.

 

NEW PRICE OF INFORMATION: On Deco app iPad all decos appear with ethernet (but also zero devices connected, all devices appear connected to main deco) while on Deco app iPhone all decos appear wirelessly backhauled

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

I will try to answer your questions one by one.

1. If you could see some new features, like ECO mode, that means it is a new feature added for the model

2. On web UI page, it is normal that satellite Decos shows offline, so please do not worry.

3. Please update Deco app to latest from Google Play or Apple Store on your iPhone and iPad. If that does not work, please share the model and OS of your iPhone and iPad, and the Deco app version you are using.

4. You may send the app log using the email address you registered on our community following this guide: How to collect system log of Deco App
